In any online PvP engagement (so here we’re excluding offline raids as this does not affect those situations) the biggest part of defense or offence is the players themselves.

If a play is killed and instantly respawns then there is no time for progress to be made in either direction. As such (and considering some of the ridiculously overpowered base locations due to no-clip) I suggest that the official PvP death timers be re-introduced (60 seconds upon death, increasing by 60 seconds for each subsequent death within a short period of time).
